As the debate rages on over the feasibility of Baku as a location for the Europa League final, Arsenal supporters have angrily gathered on Twitter to slam UEFA as Henrikh Mkhitaryan is set to miss the European showpiece due to political dissension between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Political turmoil between Mkhitaryan’s homeland of Armenia and the Europa League final host country, Azerbaijan, has caused the Gunners to seek assurances over their player’s safety in Baku. But according to The Guardian, there is not confidence within the Emirates Stadium hierarchy that a positive resolution will be found.

The north London club are said to be angry about the situation, a sentiment that has been shared by the club’s supporters on Twitter who are pointing the finger at UEFA for choosing to host the final in a seemingly unfit country.
