Hemp opened the scoring for her team in the 10th minute of play at the Manchester City Joie Stadium against West Ham. Mary Fowler then scored midway through the second half to give Gareth Taylor's side a 2-0 win to send them top of the WSL rankings for the time being.

Hemp's opener was her 50th Women's Super League goal and as per OptaJoe, she became the youngest player in WSL history to reach a half century as she did so at the age of 24 years and 60 days.

Hemp recently brought up 100 appearances with Manchester City. The England international made the move from Bristol to the Manchester-based club in the summer of 2018. Earlier this year, Hemp signed a new three-year contract with City until the summer of 2027.
