Loads of Rangers fans have been reacting to some comments from Celtic legend Chris Sutton, who has bemoaned the decision not to ban Alfredo Morelos for his actions in the Old Firm.
There’s no question who deserved to win last weekend’s clash between Rangers and Celtic, as the two arch-rivals went head to head at Ibrox.
The Gers dominated the first half and never really looked like squandering their lead after the break, but were they lucky to keep eleven men on the pitch?
Former Wigan & Fulham man, Jimmy Bullard recently showed that he’s still got it! Check out the video below…
Morelos has a history of controversial behaviour, and the Colombian international was lucky to escape punishment when he gave Scott Brown a swift kick between the legs.
The 22 year-old then appeared to deliberately rake his studs down Anthony Ralston’s back, but he will face no action from the Scottish FA as referee John Beaton saw the incidents and decided not to punish them.
“They’ve made Scottish football look like a stitch up,” Sutton said of the SFA’s decision not to ban the striker.
“If they had applied the rules correctly then El Buffalo would have been on the end of three separate red cards.
“That means three bans, six games, or even more if they pushed him through the disciplinary points totting up threshold.
“But yet again it looks like the SFA have bottled it.”
Unsurprisingly, Rangers fans are absolutely crucifying the former Celtic striker for his views, and you can find some of the best Twitter reactions down below…
